Tracey Leeming campaigning against the proposed development

Residents on Fenby Gardens are angry as Labour and Conservative Councillors on the Planning Committee voted together to allow more housing on nearby green space.

Despite being in the room Local Councillors failed to speak against the application.

Local campaigner Tracey Leeming said, "I was shocked to see that local Councillors did not support the objectors. If they supported the plans they should have said so. Local people deserve to have their voices heard."
