Local residents in Bradford are angry that the Labour Government is cutting £18 Million of funding to West Yorkshire Police.

Under the government's own assessment West Yorkshire police should be receiving £18 Million extra a year. Lib Dem PPC for Bradford East David Ward finds this unacceptable,

"I want to see more police on the beat to stop anti-social behaviour and crime. We need urgent action now."

Whilst the Labour Government would rather waste our money on expensive ID cards and illegal wars the Liberal Democrats want to give West Yorkshire Police the money they need to do the job.
